Do you leave ‘feedback’?

3

We’re all bloggers here, right?  How much do you LOVE comments?  Last week, Heather let me know that my print links weren’t working on my Strawberries site.  So I went directlyovertoherblog and let her know everythingthatwasbroken there too.

No, I kid.  I really had no idea that the links for printing my recipes weren’t working!  That is important stuff if you’re a food blogger!  So while you’re reviewing your year, maybe take a look at these:

*  use the broken link checker plugin to – you guessed it- check for broken links.

* random links and images through the archives

*  and keep all your plugins updated

Note:  On Lester Chan’s plugins (wp-email, wp-print, wp-poll, etc) some upgrades weren’t automatic.  So if you have those – go to his site and download the latest!

And be sure to leave feedback for the site administrator when you find something broken.  We really appreciate it!

  1. I’m so glad you recommended a plug-in for checking broken links. I received an email just the other day letting me know some of my links in my portfolio were broken. Argh. But this will be a HUGE help in making sure I caught them all. :)

Its very cool to know someone is actually using these tips! lol

    Thanks for stopping by,
    Cathy

  3. I never got lester’s wp-print (pre-upgrade 2.7) to work on my blog and I wanted to offer it for the recipes I posted. maybe I’ll try it again after the next upgrade…
