As this month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I thought it appropriate to feature Esther, a survivor of cancer, author, speaker, and inspiration.
From her site:
The birth of One Day Living took place on the way to my fourth chemotherapy treatment. When I received a life-changing phone call on January 8, 2002, I was not expecting to become a victim of cancer at the age of 36. As the doctor described the diagnosis, I saw my life flash before my eyes and I was sorry for taking life for granted. However, when faced with this jolt of reality and given a second chance, I wanted to help others who had faced similar struggles find restoration and renewal by recognizing that life is a gift from God and that every day is significant.
Her blog features a free monthly newsletter, regular articles, resources, and links to a survivor social network!
