A Shortcut to Linking to other Posts in WordPress

One of the tips that I’ve learned over the years is to link to other posts that I think are really quality or really relevant.  And around here – like your business sites – I regularly link from news-y articles to a product or further information on this site.  And this plugin – INTERLINKS – kicks butt for making this easy-peasy.

To install Interlinks:

1.  Go to the Administration of your blog, click on Plugins >> Add New
2.  In the search box, type, “Interlinks” and click on “Search Plugins”
3.  Find Interlinks by Harley Quine and click “Install” on the far right.
4.  Click on “Install Now” the red box.
5.  Click on “Activate”.

To use Interlinks:

1.  type the NAME of the post into square brackets – that’s IT!
2.  It should look like this:  [ [Pink for October - huh?] ] and display like this:  [[Pink for October - huh?]].
4. If you want to change the text in the link, write [ [Pink for October-huh?|This is my post ] ] and you should get [[Pink for October - huh?| This is my post]]

Notice that I put a space between the brackets to display the code. Do NOT use a space between the brackets.
