I have to admit Melanie’s input was integral to the finished product. She came up with the gorgeous graphic, and after I tried (I think I’m picking up a pattern here) to submit several designs with ‘more’, I finally caved and created the minimalist design she was after. And I can’t believe how gorgeous it turned out to be! This is based on a Thesis theme, and will be able to keep her site loading quickly, and search engines updated. In her introductory post, Melanie talks a lot about the ‘soft peacock blue’, but I want to know what you’d call this pink/red/fuschia color! Fuschia sounds like my taffeta prom dress. I should have known then that ‘minimal’ wasn’t going to be my forte.

Very pretty. Do you have a link to her blog?
I’m a regular reader of her blog and I love the new look! I love clean blogs. They are so much easier to read, especially blogs with lots of words. You did a great job!

@Fringegirl, thank you! I really can’t take all the credit though – she had a lot of input into the whole thing, I’ve been thinking about asking her to be my style consultant. Do you think I’d have to pay for that?
