Google announced yesterday that there have been some tweaks to the SEO Algorithm. It will now penalize sites that make it difficult to find real content.
Your site may loose Google ranking if your website pages:
- dedicate a large % of ‘above the fold’ space to ads
- does not have large content blocks visible above the fold
Your site will likely be unaffected by this change if:
- your ‘above the fold’ ads are within reason
- lots of relevant content remains above the fold
