When connecting websites to Facebook, a very common issue is Facebook fetching the wrong image (or no image at all). So what can you do to fix your websites to facebook integration?
If you’ve taken our advice, and added the WP SEO plugin by Yoast, it is as simple as a few clicks in the plugin’s “Social” screen.
1. First lets check your websites to Facebook integration.

“Open Graph Warnings” indicate a problem. As well you can see that the integration failed to fetch the right image:
2. Lastly, lets fix the websites to Facebook integration.
Navigate to your SEO settings tab, and click on the “social” sub-tab. Check the box, and add your default image and description.
3. Then check the settings by repeating step 1.

Will this always make Facebook grab the image that you have input in WpSeo versus the image from the article?
Hi. No, if you select a ‘featured image’ in your post, it will use that FIRST, then if there are no images uploaded to the post or selected, then it will select this default image in its stead. Make sense?
