A simple approach to be heard above the noise

Anyone else have fond memories of these?

Remember when you used to actually have a set of encyclopedias at home? I do, as a child. Did you find them interesting? There was information and photographs in our encyclopedia sets that we didn't see anywhere else.  We loved our encyclopedias.  And we loved information. The golden days of the "information age" are quickly waning. We've had all the information, marketing messages and news that we can take. What I find fascinating about my children - they are not bothered by the rolling waves of information hitting them constantly. They've learned to tune it out.  Speaking of, most … [Read more...]

The behavior of buyers has changed. This leaves websites with a great opportunity! They will ignore … [Read more...]

When we go shopping together, she strikes up conversations with the dressing room attendant, the cashier, the shelf stockers, the other customers, the children of the other customers, the people that are not customers... you get the idea. I, on the other hand, keep to myself (pretend I do not know who she is), and probably say two words the entire time (other than, "Shhhh").  I would consider my sister to be a "networker".  I am not.  If you put me in a … [Read more...]
