Sorry People – I thought I’d posted this a couple days ago!!
Okay, so I`m sensing a theme among ProBlogger`s posts of late: social networking. Blogging is social; it is communication. Here`s my take on this.
To some extent, I like to think that I`m writing into the void. My personal blog is my place to record the memorable, the funny, and photos, the petty, etc. It just exists. And the longer I blog, the less I care if people read it. I will probably blog for as long as my mother reads it. I keep some friends, and family up to date – because I SUCK at keeping in touch with my extended family. With a blog, I can. And on occasion, I also find myself sharing things that I`m deeply passionate about, and things that are so trivial, I can`t believe they take up brain cells.
Now, if you want to have a successful blog (which is what Problogger is all about) then you NEED to care what others think. You need to write for other people, balanced of course, with your own unique take on things, which is, hopefully, interesting to someone other than yourself!
So, that being said THIS blog is designed to help other people. Here is where I can write tutorials to my hearts content. It is a shared blog here – Heather and I – so we work together on design and function – we’re buddies.
What I would like to know, is how did you find your blogging buddy(ies)?
