Working with Tilvee founder and CEO, Kristie McNamara was such a privilege. She’s the real deal when it comes to entrepreneurs, and it was awesome to spend some time online with her. Her creative team came up with the product packaging and Kristie had a nice background paisley that she wanted incorporated. We put all the major inter-active elements on the front page as portals for readers. This wordpress blog is built onto the main site which is not hosted on WordPress software.

Kailani has had a beach design for so long that it has nearly become part of her brand. And in an effort not to loose the bright appeal of sand and surf, we took the existing design and updated it with a new StudioPress theme (before the days of Genesis) and re-arranged the images to fit. When we were done, she had a more modern look, more space for sponsorship with a few more options for the readers to choose from on the landing page.

This is my personal foodie blog, and is largely neglected. This re-design is a classic example of what can happen with a few minor tweaks on the Thesis framework. SEO has increased, and visits have nearly doubled, although I haven’t even been posting monthly! The images, for my topic, are so important and I love how this look keeps it refreshing and yummy!

For this site, I worked with Kathryn, the founder and a consultant from Moen Consulting. She had worked tirelessly on the copy, and procuring the exact images she wanted. She had proposed the new logo and various other brand-identifying elements. She needed a little help putting it all together in the best possible way. We made sure the site was functioning like it should, optimized for SEO, and ease of use. This is based on a StudioPress Genesis child theme.

You know whats intimidating to a designer? Working with another designer!! Melanie has an awesome eye for all things beautiful and fashionable (you should visit her Fashion Fridays series every week!) and wanted this flower. And I tried to convince her in all manner of ways to add different elements, more navigation, more this, more that. But she was adamant – just the flower! And isn’t it gorgeous? Her readers have ooo’d and awww’d at it since.

Jennifer was one of my first clients ever – before I came to work with Heather here. And when she asked me to design her new online store – it was such an honor!! She’s a fan of the traditional, early American imagery. And it was a feast for the eyes to go through some of those old pictures that are all in public domain by now. We through in a shopping cart, and organized this site into two parts: the blog and the products.

Laura had a PR representative who worked with me on creating the look that they had in mind.  She wanted the patterned background, and the soft feminine browns and turquoises.  We simply edited an existing StudioPress theme to create the look.

Amy and I had some good fun around this theme.  She wanted a coffee shop feel, and she adores this peachy color.  Together I think we show’d her strength.
